Generous funding over amost $300,000 over the past four years from Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club has enabled Learning Links’ teachers, therapists and psychologists to run a range of fully-funded programs in local South Western Sydney schools
On Sunday 21 July, the Learning Links team laced up and took part in the 11km Tradies Sutherland 2 Surf fun run and walk.
Last year alone, we supported 1,920 children through speech therapy, empowering them to communicate with greater confidence. Thanks to support from community partners, the team worked in 32 school communities as well as delivering our evidence-based programs in our centres and online.
As part of its commitment to reconciliation and contributing to positive educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, Learning Links is incredibly proud to have been running a targeted literacy and numeracy program in school communities for the past five years.

Learning Links’ long and invaluable partnership with DOOLEYS Club has continued in 2024, with funding received for five vital support programs in local schools in the Cumberland area, which will empower over 100 children with their education, mental health and wellbeing.
As part of its commitment to the education, wellbeing and future outcomes of children and adolescents, Learning Links was eagerly awaiting the Federal Government 24/25 budget announcements around early childhood reforms, education, disability and allied health.
