This August, the Learning Links team is coming together to 'Lace Up' for the City2Surf and show support for children who face difficulties with learning.
Learning Links is proud to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of a $300,000 grant from the Paul Ramsay Foundation (PRF) as part of their Experimental Evaluation Open Grant Round.
Over the last year, Learning Links has partnered with a range of community and local government partners to expand access to assessments and ensure that more children who face difficulties with learning are understood and receive the support they need to thrive.
Ongoing support from Georges River Council has been transformative for children in the local community who face challenges with learning, development and wellbeing. Their latest funding is enabling a psychologist to support children's mental health and wellbeing at Learning Links Preschool.
Learning Links has put forward a submission as part of the Department of Social Services' consultation on the design of NDIS Foundational Supports, which aims to provide a broader range of supports for children with disabilities, developmental delay and learning difficulties.
Thanks to funding from Liverpool Catholic Club, almost 100 children will be supported through our Confident Little Communicators and Links at School: Communication programs. This support is essential because for many children, difficulties with speech and language can create significant barriers to academic and social development.
Valued community partners, Club Parramatta and Castle Hill RSL Club (both part of the Castle Hill RSL Group), have generously supported Learning Links to provide critical education and wellbeing programs for children in their community in North West Sydney
In a continuing effort to support children in its local community, Ingleburn RSL has once again partnered with Learning Links to fund a life-changing speech and language program.
