Learning Links has a vision: to create a community where difficulties learning are no longer a barrier to a fulfilling life.

To achieve this, our mission is to provide children and young people who have difficulties learning with the skills, services and family support that will enable them to realise their potential

With support from our philanthropic partners, we can expand our mission and ensure all children have access to the professional support they need and deserve to learn, develop and thrive.

Our organisation is dedicated to helping the 15% of Australian children who have learning difficulties and learning disabilities. These children may face challenges such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, speech and language delays or mental health issues. Early identification and treatment are essential if the child is to realise their full potential.

Without early intervention and support, these difficulties can affect every aspect of a child’s life. They’re more likely to drop out of school and/or become isolated, suffer anxiety, experience behavioural issues and struggle with daily communication and social interaction. And the effects of learning difficulties don’t end when school does. As adults, they’re more likely to suffer from mental health issues, unemployment and even incarceration.

For over 50 years, Learning Links’ dedicated team of specialist teachers, early, childhood professionals, speech pathologists and psychologists have been supporting these children to unlock talents, foster individual strengths, ignite a passion for learning and empower them to fulfil their dreams.
