On Friday 1st November, Learning Links had the opportunity to meet with Tanya Plibersek MP, Federal Member for Sydney and Shadow Minister for Education and Training, at our new Alexandria Learning Centre to discussthe educational challenges faced by children with learning difficulties and disabilities.
“This meeting gave us a chance to highlight the importance of evidence-based reading and numeracy instruction, practical professional learning for teachers on learning difficulties and disabilities and how Learning Links is successfully implementing these inclusive principles into schools and early education centres,” said Learning Links CEO, Birgitte Maibom.
“We appreciate the time Ms Plibersek took to speak with our Learning Links team. Ms Plibersek was keen to understand how Learning Links services help prevent children from falling through the cracks through our inclusive model of intervention,” said Ms Maibom
