In Term 1 and 2, Learning Links will be running a free Speech Pathology screening program for preschool aged children who do not currently attend a preschool, childcare or early learning service. The Speech and Language Screener clinic is generously funded by the NSW Department of Education.
The Speech and Language screener is a 45-minute session with a qualified Speech Pathologist who will assess your child’s communication skills. Screening tests provide a quick and effective way of identifying preschool aged children who may be at risk of language disorders. Following the assessment, you will be provided with a short report including recommendations for your child.

Learning Links’ Speech Pathology Screening Clinic will be located at a different Learning Links centre each week throughout the term. Screening clinic dates will be available from February to July 2022 in Peakhurst, Liverpool, Gledswood Hills and Bella Vista.
Free Speech and Language Screeners can be accessed in Term 1 at the following locations:
Wednesday 2 February – Peakhurst
Saturday 12 February – Liverpool
Wednesday 16 February – Gledswood Hills
Tuesday 22 February – Bella Vista
Wednesday 2 March – Peakhurst
Wednesday 9 March – Liverpool
Each screener is 45-minutes with time slots available between 9.30am and 4.30pm. All session times are subject to availability.
