We provide a range of educational parenting programs to support parents and carers in situations that test the strength of relationships and endurance of primary care givers.

Our Psychologists are accredited to teach specific parenting programs, including:

1-2-3 Magic

Parenting skills for parents of children 2-12 years

This three-session group parenting program provides tools and strategies for parents and carers to:

  • Encourage children to stop doing the things that cause frustration (like arguing, temper tantrums and fighting) and start doing the things you want them to do (tidy rooms, get dressed etc.)
  • Learn ways to effectively discipline children without arguing, yelling or smacking
  • Increase your self-esteem

Learning Links’ psychologists run the program online via Zoom over three weeks, with a two-hour session each week. Parents receive a workbook with practical tips and information to use at home.

Thanks to generous funding from Communities for Children Fairfield, the program is currently being offered to parents living in Carramar, Fairfield, Fairfield East, Fairfield Heights, Fairfield West, Old Guildford, Smithfield, Villawood, Yennora, Wetherill Park, Bossley Park, Edensor Park, Prairiewood and Greenfield Park.
