This week, The OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) results for 2018 were released. This global study of more than half a million 15-year-olds around the world measures the ability for students to use their reading, mathematics and science knowledge and skills to meet real-life challenges.
Friday 22 November 2019 marked the grand opening of Learning Links’ newest Learning Centre at SOMA Wellness in Gledswood Hills. The centre provides a range of programs including speech therapy, educational support for literacy and numeracy, assessments and psychological intervention to help children throughout the Macarthur region who have difficulties learning.
Learning Links had the opportunity to meet with Tanya Plibersek MP, Federal Member for Sydney and Shadow Minister for Education and Training at our Alexandria Centre.
On Friday 25 October, Learning Links Peakhurst proudly received a visit from Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, to showcase the work being done to support children with learning difficulties in the St George region.
Learning Links Preschool has just been awarded an ‘Excellent’ rating by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
Learning Links is partnering with the NSW Aboriginal Education and Consultative group to provide support with literacy and numeracy for Aboriginal students in the Mt Druitt area in Sydney.
On 11th April, Linda Scott, Deputy Lord Mayor and City of Sydney Councillor, officially opened Learning Links’ newest centre in Alexandria – its first in the inner city of Sydney.
