Learning Links has been so fortunate to partner with hundreds of community and corporate volunteers over the years to run our life-changing Reading and Counting for Life programs in schools.
We are grateful for the impact that volunteer Reading and Counting Buddies have had on children in need – empowering them to build foundation literacy and numeracy skills and greater confidence in their abilities.
Unfortunately like many, our programs faced a number of challenges over the last couple of years due to COVID, which unfortunately meant that we needed to stop volunteering in schools.
While programs are now up and running, we haven’t been able to restart our community volunteering work.
We understand how passionate members of the community are about supporting children’s learning and hope that we can offer this wonderful opportunity again in the future.
