Learning Links is always in need of a generous helping hand from volunteers.

Our volunteers are special, and make a life-changing contribution to children with learning difficulties and disabilities and their families.

We’re currently on the look out for community and corporate volunteers to support our Reading for Life and Counting for Life programs in 2021.

As part of one of these life-changing programs, you will not only provide vital literacy or numeracy support to a child, but your mentoring, friendship and one-to-one guidance will empower them with the skills to keep up in class, build confidence and reach their full potential.

What Our Volunteers Say

92% of our For Life volunteers say they are very satisified with their experience.

“I feel extremely privileged to volunteer for Learning Links’ Reading for Life program and would love to do it again. So much fun and the children really enjoy it too – the highlight of my Monday!”
“The greatest thing that I found about volunteering as a Counting for Life Buddy was seeing the change in attitude of the child by the end of the session. By the time the recess bell rang, he was happy and smiling and ready to run off and enjoy the rest of his day.”
