Executive Assistant to CEO

A unique and high-level opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to our CEO and manage all aspects of the CEO Office.

About the role

The position provides day to day administrative support to the CEO, General Managers and the Board in a way that supports effective communications, enhances the organisation of our operations, and maintains the absolute security, integrity and confidentiality of the executive team and organisational information.

The Executive Assistant is a key support person to the CEO and manages all aspects of the Office of the CEO.  The role will support communication and connection between the CEO, General Manager, Managers, staff and external stakeholders.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated significant industry experience in an executive support role with excellent administrative and co-ordination skills, preferably gained in education, allied health, or the not-for-profit sector;
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, including the ability to communicate with all audiences with the utmost discretion and confidentiality;
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a flexible style and approach;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects across a very busy office and team environment with the proven ability to prioritise and meet very demanding deadlines;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment; and
  • Excellent computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word, PowerPoint, and database experience.

The position will be located at our new support office and learning centre in Alexandria and may require occasional travel to our other sites.
