Learning Links is running a FREE teacher professional learning opportunity exclusively for schools in the Camden and Campbelltown Council LGAs.
The TPL will cover the following topics:
Maths games – You will have a chance to play and learn maths games that your students can use to revise key maths skills using common classroom materials you already have.
Interpreting the WISC and knowing what comes next – A practical and informative guide to the children’s Weschler cognitive assessments.
Identifying and supporting students with speech and language difficulties – You will learn about the different types of speech/language difficulties that commonly impact children in the classroom as well as what to do if you are concerned about a student’s speech/language skills. You will leave with practical strategies and resources you can use in the classroom to support children with these difficulties.
