This workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to confidently work directly with students with learning difficulties as well as provide support and advice to your colleagues. You will learn how to conduct a task analysis to identify why a task is difficult and then use well established pedagogical strategies including direct and explicit instruction, spaced practice and mastery learning to support students to learn across all curriculum areas.
Completing this course will contribute 3 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 1.5.2, 3.1.2, 5.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
