Primary and high school teachers (Early Stage One to Stage Four), learning support teachers and teacher’s aides.

What’s it about?

Do you have children in your classroom who struggle to read and spell?

In this one-hour Learning Links webinar, Dr Samantha Hornery will help you to understand what dyslexia is and provide practical information and strategies to better support students with their reading and spelling, whether they have a diagnosis or not.

Samantha is Learning Links’ Education Manager. She is a teacher with over 20 years’ experience, and has spent her career helping children who have difficulties learning to succeed at school.

You’ll learn:

  • to identify what Dyslexia is
  • to recognise other difficulties in reading
  • how to plan an effective intervention for students struggling to read and spell
  • about assistive technology to support all students to learn
