Who should attend?

This course is suitable for primary and high school teachers (Early Stage One to Stage Four), learning support teachers and teacher’s aides.

What’s it about?

Are you unsure about Dyslexia? What it is (or isn’t!) and how you can help students in your classroom read? Are you feeling pressured to have a dyslexia intervention in place for a student?

Dyslexia is a term to describe poor and effortful reading and spelling – it can be assessed, identified and appropriate supports provided by teachers. In this workshop you will learn about the assessment and diagnosis of Dyslexia, the essential requirements of a Dyslexia or reading intervention and practical ways to support your students to learn to read.
