  • Note: If you do not have an email address or need assistance with the online application process, contact the recruitment team.

Preparing for interview

  • The interview is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your transferable skills and experience. When responding to questions, we suggest you keep your responses succinct and make sure you include details of a previous situation, any actions that you took and the outcome. Don’t talk about what you would do, but what you did in a real situation.
  • We recommend reading the position description and preparing a few examples of when you have done similar roles/tasks that demonstrate how you meet the requirements of the role.

Referee checks

  • If you attend an interview, you will be asked to provide two work referees who are people you currently or have previously reported to who can speak about your skills and knowledge. It is best to confirm with your referees their willingness to act as referees before nominating them.  It is helpful if you send your referees a copy of the position description or tell them about the role you are applying for. This way they will be prepared to answer our questions on your background and experience.

Pre-employment screening

  • Learning Links require a range of pre-employment screening which may include a Working with Children Check, a National Police Check, and a Working Rights Check. We will obtain your consent prior to conducting any checks.

Overseas Applicants

Learning Links will only consider applications from applicants who have the right to work in Sydney Australia and will ask for evidence of this right.
