Who do we help?

Learning Links helps children from birth to 18 years with learning difficulties, learning disabilities and developmental disabilities.

We help babies, toddlers and pre-school age children who are at risk of delayed development or have a diagnosed disability. The children we help may have difficulty with:

playing and learning;
paying attention;
understanding what others are saying;
behaviour;
communicating and interacting;
eating and drinking; and
moving.

If you would like to know more about our services for this age group please go to Early Childhood Services.

We also help school age children who are having difficulty reading, writing, spelling, understanding schoolwork and paying attention. If you would like to more about our services for this age group please go to School Age Services.

We also help the families of children in our Family Services Programs. If you would like to more about our services for families please go to Family Services.

Our services also include workshops for parents, health professionals, teachers, early childhood professionals and staff and other information sessions. These can be found under What's New? Information on our professional development program and tailored training courses/workshops for health professionals, teachers, early childhood professionals and staff can be found under Professional Development.
