Join other Successful Partnerships with Trusts
When you donate money to Learning Links you will be joining other respected Trusts and Funds that have chosen to help the children of Learning Links. Thank you to the following Trusts & Foundations who have supported us recently:
AMP
On behalf of Learning Links we would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the AMP Foundation for their extremely generous donation. This donation came at a time when we have worked tirelessly to improve our support services and we are very grateful for this contribution to our organisation. Our donors are very important to our organisation and we are extremely grateful that AMP has selected Learning Links to support and assist us with our work in helping children with difficulty learning. Learning Links is delighted to be the beneficiary of this donation and it is the children and families who attend Learning Links’ programs who benefit from donations such as this.
The O’Neill Foundation
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to The O’Neill Foundation for their generous donation to Learning Links. This donation will help children with disabilities, learning difficulties and delays from financially disadvantaged families to receive subsidised early childhood intervention, therapy, specialist literacy/numeracy support and counselling programs. As a charity Learning Links relies on donations and fundraising to help us help children and their families. Without this valuable support, our aim of helping children be the best they can be would be so much more difficult.
James N Kirby Foundation
On behalf of the children, families and staff of Learning Links, our sincere thanks to James N Kirby Foundation for the extremely generous donation of funds towards the Reading for Life Online program. We appreciate the support for children who are struggling with reading at school and may otherwise have missed out on vital help to give them the best chance for the future. James N Kirby are valued supporters of Learning Links and we are extremely grateful for their continued generosity and funding.
United Way Sydney
Our sincere thanks to United Way Sydney for their generous donation through the workplace giving scheme to Learning Links. Learning Links is delighted to be the beneficiary of this donation and it is the children and families who attend Learning Links’ programs who benefit from donations such as this. Learning Links is extremely appreciative of the continuing support and generosity extended to us by United Way Sydney.
United Way Northern Beaches Youth Fund
Our sincere thanks to the United Way Northern Beaches Youth Fund for the very generous donation to the Triumphant Typing Program for five children in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This program will give children with motor and learning difficulties the opportunity to develop to their full potential by giving them the skills to utilise computers efficiently. Learning Links will run this 10-week program that will teach children in upper primary and early high school how to use all of their fingers, type faster and with fewer mistakes and increase their confidence in computer skills.
Fuji Xerox Australia and United Way Sydney
Our thanks to Fuji Xerox Australia and United Way Sydney for their ongoing support for the children and families of Learning Links. We would like to thanks Fuji Xerox Australia for their generous donation resulting from a staff survey in March 2010. Our donors are an important part of our organisation and we are extremely appreciative of the support and generosity of our donors.
AMP, Alpine Nursery, Hurstville City Council & United Way Sydney
Our sincere thanks to Ross Liddle and Brian Docker of United Way for co-ordinating a volunteer project for Learning Links at our inclusive Preschool at Peakhurst. Thanks goes to AMP for volunteering their time, Alpine Nursery for donating over 100 plants and Hurstville City Council for donating mulch to complete this important project for the preschool children of Learning Links. The project was a ‘Backyard Blitz’-style makeover with the volunteers transforming the children’s playground with garden beds replanted with fresh soil and mulch. Over 103 children attend our inclusive preschool at Peakhurst each week and this includes 30 children with learning difficulties and disabilities. The outdoor area is an important part of our preschool program where children with and without additional needs learn and play together. The area now has beautiful plants specifically chosen for their properties in attracting bird life and butterflies to the playground as well as the sensory aspect of smell and movement of the plants. These volunteer projects are extremely important to Learning Links as a charity and we warmly thank United Way for the co-ordinating the playground make-over and AMP, Alpine Nursery and Hurstville City Council for their participation in the project.
The Good Guys and United Way Sydney

We would like to thank The Good Guys Bankstown for continuing to support our Early Starters programs; The Good Guys Caringbah and The Good Guys Nowra for continuing to support the Reading for Life program.
