What do participants feel about Learning Links' courses?
"The Learning Links staff presented a very professional, interactive and informative workshop aimed at the participants and taking into consideration the experience of the group."
"I would not hesitate to recommend the Training staff of Learning Links to conduct either the short in-service courses or to design a workshop to suit the individual's needs. I would be confident in the knowledge that the workshops would be valuable to services and families alike and that the presenters would be interesting and well-prepared."
"Carers were responsive and attuned to the presentation given. The degree of participation, sharing of ideas and situations, and level of enthusiasm demonstrated by the carers indicated that the information they were receiving was indeed meeting their needs."
"Several carers requested an extension of this training session as they found that the information was relevant, useful, and that they would be able to put their learning into practice."
"After attending the Makaton workshop I introduced basic signing, nursery rhymes and simple instructive gesturing into my programs. This has improved the standard of communication with CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) families, children with disabilities and added a new dynamic into our parent education program."
"The training was well conducted and planned and the materials showed to the workers was very impressive."
"Excellent workshop. Information was presented in such a way that it was easily absorbed."
"Thank you. Loved it. Very compassionate. Gave us a feeling of 'we can
cope'."
"How excellent to have a paediatrician with so much knowledge! Both trainers were very informative."
