Learning Links News
Learning Links publishes a quarterly newsletter with articles and up-to-date information on learning disabilities, learning difficulties and developmental delays. A diary dates section also keeps people informed of meetings and seminars on topics of interest.
Articles on a variety of aspects related to children's learning are featured each issue. Authors featured include specialists from Learning Links, other organisations, universities and private practice.
Topics covered in previous issues include surviving the transition to high school, starting school, autistic spectrum disorder, stuttering, dyspraxia, overcoming writing difficulties, dyslexia, inclusion, Makaton signing, the Ronald McDonald Learning Program for children who have had serious illnesses and the experiences of siblings of children with special needs.
The newsletter is free to members and our supporters and 2,000 copies are printed and distributed throughout the community. It features a section thanking our donors and supporters and ways to help the children and families of Learning Links.
The cost of the newsletter for non-members is $4.40 per issue (including GST and postage) or $16 (including GST and postage) for a year's subscription (or four issues). Click here to order.
